The poet and writer Lamartine has noted the Lecques gulf as being one of the most beautiful in the world.  The bay offers a lot, in effect, from its exceptional beach to its two lovely ports- all of which are bordered by the beautiful surrounding waters.

Saint Cyr sur Mer (Saint Cyr on the Sea), situated between La Ciotat and Bandol, is a seasonal town where the tourism industry is an integral part of the local economy.

Outside of peak seasons, the town has a population of about 11,000.  In season there are upwards of 30,000 people!

The club premises themselves are agreeably welcoming: The main room is the holding place for courses, lined with windows and a view of the sea. Off to the side there is an area set apart as the club house, with a cold drinks distributor, bar area, and kitchen.  Our office is located next to the main area for instruction, and of course we have men and women changing rooms complete with toilets, heating, and hot showers.

The club has a wide range of equipment:

Catamarans:

  • 4 Hobie Cat 15s,
  • 4 Hobie Twixxys,
  • 1 Hobie Cat 16 with SPI,
  • and 2 Dart 16s

And also:

  • One Laser,
  • 20 sets of Windsurfing gear from beginners to experts,
  • 20 Optimists,
  • and 5 kayaks.
